The people closest to a challenge usually know what needs to happen. What they often don't have is the training, the network, the resources, or the confidence. My work in this arena builds those. Over the last decade I've designed curricula and led programs that have trained more than 3,000 emerging leaders across 30 countries, with a particular focus on youth, Indigenous entrepreneurs, and early-career practitioners in conservation and community development.

Youth-Led Conservation Leadership

The Work

  • Built and scaled a global youth-led conservation organization from concept to a 30-country operation, training 3,000+ emerging leaders and establishing partnerships with UN Environment, IUCN, UNDP, the US Department of the Interior, WWF-UK, Parks Canada, and others

  • Developed organizational strategy, secured funding, and led multi-national teams across a decade of growth

  • Designed curriculum and mentorship infrastructure connecting leaders across continents

  • Completed a planned intergenerational succession in 2022, honoring a founding commitment that the organization would always be youth-led

The Impact

  • Created a globally recognized model for youth-led conservation leadership that is still operating and continuing to enable conservation projects worldwide.

Global Youth Capacity Building
North American Commission for Environmental Cooperation | Canada, USA, and Mexico

The Work

  • Facilitate an annual twelve-month environmentally focused capacity building and mentorship program for Global Environmental Leaders Program cohorts and semi-finalists from across North America

  • Design curriculum relevant across three languages and cultures

  • Provide mentorship to teams of emerging conservation leaders across Canada, USA, and Mexico

The Impact

  • Built capacity of 30+ emerging leaders through individualized mentorship and cohort-based learning, with evergreen learning content focused on project development and communications tactics available across three languages.

Path of the Changemaker
WWF-UK, Youth for Our Planet | International

The Work

  • Contracted by WWF-UK to manage the development of the Youth for Our Planet: Path of the Changemaker course with global partners

  • Coordinated content development, partnership management, and curriculum design for an international youth audience

The Impact

  • Delivered a globally accessible course equipping young changemakers with the tools to lead environmental action in their own communities.

Researcher and Lead Content Developer | International

  • Researched and developed an internationally published toolkit for building a culture of empowered, dynamic, and transdisciplinary early-career leaders through intergenerational dialogue, mentorship, and cooperation

  • Contributed a widely used resource that continues to inform intergenerational leadership programs internationally.
