We believe that great ideas become reality when they are guided by specialists.
Our enthusiasm and energy enable us to motivate people. We understand that people do their best work when they are passionate. We encourage people to be driven by those passions and empower each other to speak from the heart. We are brave, taking risks where larger rewards are possible.
Forward-thinking and ambitious, Crista specializes in putting ideas into action. With strong organization skills and ability to build relationships and accomplished teams, Crista excels in not only designing the best strategies for success but in executing each step diligently.
After graduating from Quinnipiac University in 2009, Crista was drawn to non-profit work, enjoying the ability to be a part of decision making processes and watching how her day-to-day contributions immediately and directly affected an outcome. In 2013, with an invitation from The WILD Foundation to address the lack of support and visibility that was available to younger generations in the environmental sector, Crista founded CoalitionWILD, a now 10,000+ member global initiative in over 50 countries connecting and galvanizing the world's young change makers to create a better future for our planet. She continues to lobby for a stronger integration of youth voices and empowerment in organizational and business decision making, and has achieved this through recently co-publishing an intergenerational leadership toolkit for conservation and leading multiple projects that accelerate and further initiatives around the world being led by young people for nature. Because of this work, Crista has recently signed a collaborative agreement with Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell to develop a joint program with the US Dept. of Interior for 2017. The program will pair Dept. of Interior staffers with a young environmental professional for a one year mentorship experience.
Crista is an active member of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA) Young Professionals group, a Womentum and Leadership Jackson Hole Alumnae, and has had her writing featured in local, regional and international publications on a variety of topics. Crista spends her free time pushing her limits in the Tetons and searching out the best ice cream shops around the world. and connect people to nature through designing and implementing programs, events, and community outreach.
